Quality Policy

Coniston Limited are committed to quality and as such operate a fully integrated Quality Management System (QMS) covering all aspects of the business operation from initial enquiry to final handover. The QMS, developed in accordance with the principles of ISO 9001:2008, is authorised by the Directors and adherence to them is mandatory for all levels of personnel.

Our commitment to quality is based on the principle of providing our clients with a quality building service, which meets and satisfies the customer’s requirements whilst reflecting the business needs and meeting all regulatory and legislative requirements. Coniston will achieve this through the delivery of a building service, which is professional, efficient, reliable and cost effective.

Coniston ensure that all of their building work is carried out by competent staff, who are fully and continually trained in building methods, material technology and Health and Safety.

Coniston are committed to continual improvement establishing objectives and targets, which can be measured and monitored, to demonstrate improvement and allow us to benchmark against the industry standards.

Conistons approach to best practice encourages collaborative working relationships with both clients and our supply chain. All members of our supply chain are required to demonstrate their own commitments to continual improvement and work towards the achievement of Conistons quality objectives, as documented in our Best Practice Manual

This policy and the company’s quality objectives will be subject to periodic management reviews, by senior management. Any alterations, amendments or observations will be subsequently communicated to all staff to ensure we all work towards a common goal of quality service provision. This policy will also be monitored and revised (as and when appropriate) to reflect changes in statutory requirements, company policy or procedures. Central co-ordination of revisions will be dealt with, and can only be issued by, the Manager responsible for quality.

The requirements and intent of this policy are communicated to staff through a variety of different mediums and forums. These include:
• A copy of the published policy constantly available from our website
• Memos of reminders and updates, as and when necessary
• A verbal instruction and signed confirmation of instruction during all staff members initial induction
• Reminders and updates via on-site tool box talk, as and when necessary
• Reminders and updates via contract review meetings, as and when necessary
